The Fiesta ST is a sports hatch that packs a whole lot of power into a small package. It’s only available in limited numbers so we needed to capture the excitement of the car in a really potent way. When words fail to communicate, you’ve got to use other senses. So, we created an outrageously hot chilli sauce. We packaged the ST Sauce in 1500 limited edition bottles and put it at the centre of thrill seekers conversations around the city – on tables at cool Mexican restaurants, burger joints where car clubs meet up on cruise nights, food carts at motorsport tracks and more. To capture the sensory hit of the Fiesta ST in a bottle we worked with gourmet chilli sauce maker Chris Cullen to translate the power and strength of the vehicle into a flavour profile. We tracked down the hottest chillis grown in New Zealand, making it eye-wateringly hot: 1.463 million scoville units. That’s hot.
