The Effies investigate whether the success of a campaign was a happy accident or actual science.

We borrowed from the visual language of classroom scientific education and retro educational science films, with a twist of humour. We gently parody some of the anomalous science and mumbo jumbo of marketing speak, while still having a strong graphic platform to deliver to the notion that solid marketing relies on some solid marketing science.

The Renaissance was a time of discovery, exploration and progress for mankind, a perfect metaphor for the resurgence of leadership, knowledge and charting new territories that today’s media people are doing. CAANZ take a 21st century twist on the Renaissance. CAANZ invite the media industry to join them on this voyage, embracing the spirit of the explorers, the scholars and the inventors. The Michelangelos, The Bartholomew Diazs, Newtons, Bacons, Drakes and Raleighs. The imagery is rich and elegant with a modern twist. Elegantly crafted fineries representative of the depth of thought that goes into doing a job carefully, and passionately.
